Success in high school
I wholeheartedly recommend the staff and tutors at Huntington. My son struggled in school since kindergarten and as an 8th grader things had just gotten too hard to keep up. His evaluation was able to identify his specific needs. The one-on-one attention he received filled in the gaps, helped him learn how to make the most of his time and study wisely. The monthly updates with Whitney were vital to me. I was able to keep up with his progress and she was always interested in what more they could do to help him. He is a freshman now and there is a noticeable difference in him. Success breeds success and he has a confidence in his abilities that was never there before. He is bringing home great grades, even in Honors classes and I couldn't be happier.
Study Skills make a Difference
I breezed though high school, so I thought I had it made in college. I soon found myself in college courses and overwhelmed with deadlines. I did not know how to bring up my grades.

As you know, last school year, I was distraught over my son’s plummeting grades. Last summer I enrolled him in Huntington Learning Center.

It is a great honor and privilege for my wife and I to write about Huntington Learning Center. Our daughter, Neha, took SAT classes at Huntington. Even though Neha was a straight-A student throughout her school years, we felt strongly that she would greatly benefit from a well-structured preparatory course aiding in her preparations for the SAT and ACT.
Improvement on Grades
We had brought our son to Huntington because we had received an email from our school stating that our child was behind in school after being ahead for most of the year. As parents, we were confused as to why his school had not mentioned this until now. We decided to test at Huntington to see where his needs were, and were sad to hear that they were where we thought. The Director at the center was very positive though, and told us that we would have our child back. We were apprehensive, but did the program anyways. It has now been three months, and the Director was right - we now have our child back! He enjoys going to school again. We know that we still have a little ways to go, but we are just happy that our child is back!

When my daughter was in first grade, I knew she didn’t understand what she was learning. She had a lot of ear infections in Kindergarten and first grade, so I took her to an ear specialist and come to find out she was 85% deaf. She wasn’t hearing what was going on in the classroom. She moved on to second grade and was still struggling, the school couldn’t offer her any after school help, so I contacted Huntington Learning Center and she has been going there two nights a week...

I started the school year back in August with straight A’s; a short-lived experience. I then discovered my grades had taken a nose-dive; a D- in math is really what concerned me. My parents had found Huntington Learning Center and I gladly agreed to go. This experience at Huntington has greatly helped me in school. I watched my math grade climb to a C in only three months. In my experience at Huntington, I learned a lot of things about reading and math. These “things†I know for sure will guide me through life as I go through high school and college.
