Huntington is great for learning and boosting your education, I recommend it for everyone. Huntington can help you with anything you need, and they make sure to be very specific to your needs. I've learned a lot from the tutoring help I've received, and I have recommended it to my friends and other people that needed help like I did.
ACT Prep
My daughter took the ACT test and when her score came back , we realized that she needed some help. She struggles with test anxiety. She's a 'B' honors student, but has always struggled with standardized testing. She always performs average on these types of tests and it never truly showed how smart she is because of her test anxiety. We found a private tutor and worked with her for several months. It barely helped with her ACT composite score. She still struggled because of her test anxiety. We found the Naperville Huntington and thought we would try a different approach. Huntington tested her to see where her strengths and weaknesses were. They individualized a program for her. We came to them with a VERY limited schedule availability because of her sports schedule. They worked through it all with us and we came up with a schedule. They focused on all aspects of the exam. She had a given number of hours dedicated to Math, Science, Reading and test taking strategies. When she finished, she took the ACT. Her Math score went up 5 points. Her Science score went up 3 points and her reading score went up 2 points. We were very pleased with these results. I would highly recommend Huntington to any parent, and student, who has high college expectations. The test taking strategies that she learned from Huntington will continue to be used during her college years. Thank you Huntington!
ACT Prep
I've now had two daughters complete one-on-one tutoring at the Naperville Huntington location. Though this is a much more expensive approach to ACT exam preparation, I highly recommend this service. Both daughters had an individual assessment followed by a plan that focused on only the material that was deficient, unlike an ACT class that covers everything. This is a much better use of time and money. In the end, both girls increased their score by 3 points!
ACT Prep
As parents, we wanted to provide the best opportunity for our child to succeed in school. So, we reached out to the Huntington Learning Center in Oswego for assistance in helping her overcome difficulties with reading comprehension along with honing her math and test-taking skills. The one-on-one guidance Huntington provided was extremely beneficial, especially in preparing for the ACT. Our daughter added 12 points to her original score after following Huntington's ACT prep guidelines. The smile on her face after receiving her ACT score and knowing she could now get accepted into her college of choice was worth every penny we spent. What's more important than investing in your child's future!

We were so pleased with Huntington and their ACT prep for our son, as well as their High School Entrance Exam prep for our daughter. Both of their tutors were very organized & knowledgeable, went over information in detail, and provided feed back in a positive manner. I really enjoyed the program as it was a great opportunity for me to advance my skill for the SAT. The problems that I had from the beginning did not appear as frequently as before. I felt that the test was much easier than expected. I was better prepared for this test and felt I knew most of the sections. ACT program works
This was my fourth child preparing for ACT. My son, Luc, tutored at another agency with no results. ACT score with no tutoring was the same score as ACT with tutoring at another agency. Because there was no change in ACT score, I looked for new tutoring. I was referred to Huntington Learning Center in Arlington Heights, Il. My son worked with Huntington for 13 sessions(normally 17 sessions, we were tight on time) in two weeks. He then took the ACT. Raised his overall ACT 5 points. I believe ...
What a Difference!
I have noticed such a difference in my 11 year-old daughter since she started coming to Huntington in Oswego, IL. She is more confident with her reading abilities, and holds her head higher! My husband and I were amazed at her results this summer: in vocabulary, she went from 3rd grade to almost 6th grade level! And for reading comprehension, she went from an almost 4th grade to an 8th grade level! Last year, 4th grade was a real struggle just to get her to go to school every day, but I don't anticipate the same problem this year. Thank you, Directors Alexa and Lauren, and to all the teachers at Huntington Learning Center who helped my daughter learn over the summer.
