For the past 20 years, Director Candise Leonard-Schmidling has provided instruction and curriculum development for K-12 private schools, including 10 years managing SAT/ACT Prep programs. She leads a team of 23 professional tutors who create a caring environment where students can thrive. At Huntington, each student has the opportunity to master skills that once seemed confusing or overwhelming.
The Huntington Learning Center is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commission, just like other top schools across the country. Standards of quality and proficiency have consistently delivered success through individualized tutoring bringing students up to grade level, raising their scores, increasing their confidence, and instilling long-term motivation to learn. The programs offered through the learning center adhere to Common Core standards, utilize modern curriculum resources, and adapt to all learning styles.
