I opened the center in 2001 with my husband Jack. Since then, the Palm Harbor Center has been helping students one at a time! Our unique approach to helping students has made Huntington second to none! We believe in one on one tutoring only, working individually with each student to help them reach their potential. The results are astounding! This is one of the many reasons I have been with Huntington for over 23 years!
In addition to the great work we do at Huntington, our center and myself personally am involved with many community organizaitons. I am a Rotarian with the The Rotary Club of Dunedin and serve as the liaison to the Interact Club at Dunedin High School. Presently, I am the Chairperson of the Board of Directors for Academie da Vinci Charter School, Chairperson of SAC at Ozona Elementary, a member of SAC at Dunedin Elementary School, a member of the Dunedin High School Academy of Business & Technology Advisory Board.
I serve on the Board of Directors for Waterford Crossing Homeowners Association, The Rotary Club of Dunedin, the Greater Palm Harbor Area Chamber of Commerce and the Dunedin Chamber Cultural and Educational Foundation. I am also committee chairperson for the Education Committee for the Palm Harbor Chamber of Commerce and the Dunedin Chamber of Commerce.
Giving back to the community is my passion. I believe giving back is not only my responsibility, but the gifts I receive from doing so far outweigh the work.
