Huntington Learning Center has proudly served the Northshore since 1999. We know that our community places a high emphasis on the quality of life for our families and the education of our children. Our students are extremely successful because our certified teachers are dedicated to the education and well-being of its youth. Each and every day we strive to fulfill our mission statement to give every student the best education possible.
The Director of Huntington Learning Center in Mandeville, LA, Ann Habisreitinger Barré, M.Ed., has been involved in education since 1992. She has a BA in education and a Master’s Degree in counseling. Ann started her career as a classroom teacher and school counselor. In 1994, she began tutoring at Huntington Learning Center in Metairie, LA. In 1996, she became the Director of that center, and in 1999 helped to establish the center in Mandeville, LA.
Huntington is actively involved in our local schools, churches, and communities. We are affiliated with the Children’s Museum of St. Tammany, Leadership St. Tammany, Junior League of Greater Covington, Project Christmas, and St. Tammany Animal Resource Team to name a few. We are also truly honored that the Northshore community voted us Northshore’s Best Tutor three years in a row.
