Welcome to Huntington Learning Center, the premier tutoring & SAT/ACT prep service in the Capital Region. Huntington students achieve outstanding results through our individualized & prescriptive approach.
We’ve developed a proven system over 45 years that is designed to build skills, confidence and motivation. You can expect:
• A detailed academic evaluation used to create an individualized plan. The quality and thoroughness of this evaluation is at a different level than you will see elsewhere. A teacher is involved the entire time, and the results allow us to pinpoint the needs of each student.
• A Director will closely monitor your child’s program and meet with you regularly to discuss progress.
• A carefully selected curriculum that will fill foundational gaps while building confidence and motivation.
• With your permission, we’ll meet with your child’s school teacher to discuss the best way to help your child succeed.
Tutoring students average a 2 grade level increase after about 60 days, while SAT students average a 248 point increase, and ACT students average a 5.4 point increase. Our certified teachers are caring and trained to build motivation and confidence. Many students actually look forward to coming because they enjoy this feeling!
