Located in Suffolk County, the Bay Shore tutoring center is located in the Bay Shore Commons shopping center, across from Chase Bank (the same shopping center as the Bay Shore Stop & Shop). Surrounded by the towns of Islips (East Islip, West Islip, Central Islip, and Islip), Bay Shore is “the heart of the South Shore.” It celebrated its 300th anniversary in 2008. The Bay Shore tutoring center serves the Bay Shore Union Free School District.
Home of the Marauders, the Bay Shore tutoring center serves five elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school. The center also serves the Bay Shore Parochial School of St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church.
The Bay Shore tutoring center is accredited by the Middle States Association and is proud of the exceptional teachers who work with our students. One of our teachers was even awarded Teacher of the Year in 2016, for her excellence in instruction and her dedication to students. This dedication to educating students is the philosophy that the entire center staff lives by, believing that every child can succeed with the right tools and guidance. Our teachers help students to build the skills, confidence, and motivation to achieve academically.
The Bay Shore tutoring center also offers free seminars about a range of topics at local schools, libraries, and other community centers. These presentations relate information about some of the most common questions that parents and educators have about students in school.
