Since 1993, the Huntington Learning Center in Barrington has been helping students achieve their academic goals.We serve the towns of Barrington, Inverness, Palatine, Lake Zurich, Hoffman Estates, Fox River Grove and Cary. We provide test prep,academic skills tutoring in reading, math, English, phonics and executive functioning, as well as subject tutoring.We partner with school districts and schools(both public and private) and are familiar with the learning standards and classroom expectations for area schools.More recently we have stayed closely informed of the changes to the ACT and redesigned SAT, and the decision by the Illinois State Board of Education to require public high school juniors to take the SAT. You can count on us to provide excellent instruction that yields great academic growth and to provide you with communication regarding your child's progress.We are experts at working with the tricky schedules of active students who are juggling sports schedules, clubs and part time employment schedules.We are open 6 days per week including Saturday and Sunday (closed Fridays). Our test prep programs include ACT, SAT, PSAT, SSAT,& GED.We have seen first hand the difference an increased ACT or SAT score can make in the number of college choices a student has and the scholarships offered due to higher scores.
Our test prep programs are individualized and delivered in a one to one setting that provides increased content knowledge and test taking strategies.
