When I first came to Huntington, I hated school. I hated school because I couldn't read and I felt like everyone was better than me.

While I was at the center, I liked reading funny stories, like Bibs and Joy. I liked vocabulary because every time I got a word right, I got a sticker!

Now, I use my reading helper in school. I like every subject because I know phonics. Being able to read helps me understand.

In school, I walk in feeling confident and proud to be me.
