My son has been going to Huntington Learning Center for only 6 weeks and we have already seen improvements in his test grades. We started him with tutoring for Biology and Algebra II when his quiz and test scores slowly began to diminish. We were concerned that our son may be having some difficulty with comprehending the advanced material as well as issues with studying skills. He was paired up with Gary which has turned out to be a perfect match! Gary assists our son with his Algebra II homework, checking for comprehension, completeness, and accuracy. Gary also helps him to better understand difficult topics in Biology and prepares him for quizzes and tests. The tutoring sessions not only helps to fill voids that may exist in the comprehension of the material, but the one-on-one sessions also holds our son accountable for accurate and focused work and study time. Lastly, Huntington has been extremely flexible with scheduling which has allowed us to schedule sessions according to when there are tests in these subjects and around other activities. We are so glad we decided to use Huntington to address our son’s needs, and we are thankful for all that Gary and the staff have done so far.
