The Huntington Learning Center in Ankeny is proud to serve the communities of Ankeny, Alleman, Atoona, Bondurant, Colfax, Elkhart, Huxley, Maxwell, Mitchellville, Pleasant Hall, Polk City and parts of Des Moines. We have a team of capable, caring teachers that work with students from Kindergarten through high school. We have an excellent reputation as is evident by the fact that over half of the families that we serve come to us through a friend or family recommendation. We strive to provide each student with the best education possible.
We are proud to provide skill work to students in reading, writing, math, phonics and study skills. We are also home to the premier ACT/SAT program in the area. Our ACT preparation has seen our students average more than a 5 point increase on the exam. We also provide course specific tutoring in math, science and other subjects.
We reserve our greatest pride for the hundreds of students that we have helped in the 12 plus years that we have been in the community. We are scheduling students for in-center instruction and can accomodate students online as well. We are following all state and federal guidelines and are prepared with a safe and healthy learning environment for our students.
